When I was growing up I always wanted to play with the big boys.
I didn’t want to play with the babies or toddlers… They were so boring.
Now with my Son I see the similar pattern. He is always chasing after the big boys.
Same applies for us today. We like to look at Dan Koe, Alex Hormozi or Gary Vee.
Dreaming that could be us one day. We could be the Big Boy.
The Plan that I have for us today is simple:
How are we going to play with the Big boys?

When you are just starting out on YouTube, it can be quite overwhelming.
I have uploaded over 400 Videos and oh so many shorts… in the last three years on YouTube, so I got a bit of experience.
In this Video I will give you three things I wish I knew before I started.
First of all we need to talk the two different approaches when it comes to YouTube.
The Entertainment Approach and the Education Approach.
In this video we will cover in depth the Educational Approach, because that is what I have specialized in.
Many YouTube Videos will tell you the opposite of what I’m about to tell you.
I also had those three points in the wrong order.
What do you think makes a educational video really good?
Is is the Video, Editing, Camera, Filming Skills, or Lighting?
Nope to all of them. The biggest factor is: Speaking and Presenting!
You are here to educate - so the quality of the Video is: How well are you education aka. Helping the Viewer do - what the video is about.
This will lead us now to the main Things - that I actually did wrong, but wish I would’ve know earlier.
In order for you to avoid these Mistakes here they are:
Audio > Video
Light > Camera
Speaking > Editing
Let’s dive into each one separately for me to give you the reasons why I believe so.

In this podcast episode, the host warns against the "Edutainment Trap," which focuses too much on making educational content entertaining, attracting the wrong audience that is not committed to change or business growth. Instead, they advocate for focusing on providing real solutions to your ideal client's problems. Key steps include understanding client pain points through research, prioritizing speaking skills over production value, delivering straightforward solutions without fluff, tracking meaningful metrics beyond vanity numbers, and offering clear calls to action. The goal is to be a teacher and leader, not just an entertainer.

The Fruit Forest Framework is a content strategy model that helps personal brands grow across multiple platforms. The framework draws an analogy between content creation and growing plants in a forest. Key points include:
The 5 Seasons of Discovery: This process represents how people discover and engage with your brand, from initial content (the tree) to building relationships (buds, blossoms, fruit) and converting followers into loyal fans (seeds).
The Two-Sided Content Tree: This covers both content creation and discovery, starting with an idea (the seed) and growing into various content formats like videos, articles, and posts across platforms to attract and engage audiences.
Types of Plants in the Forest: Different types of content are likened to plants:
Vegetables: Short-term, viral content like beans (quick, temporary attention) and tomatoes (short-form content).
Fruit Bushes: Evergreen but moderate content like medium-form posts.
Fruit Trees: Long-term, evergreen content like authority-building articles and videos that provide sustainable growth.
Overall, the framework encourages creators to diversify their content across platforms, focus on long-term relationships, and ensure their content is strategically tied to business growth.

What Separates the Best Personal Brands from the Rest
In this episode, we dive deep into what truly separates successful personal brands—like Alex Hormozi, Gary Vee, Matt Gray, and Dan Koe—from the rest of the crowd. Spoiler: they’re not just building brands, they’re running Personal Media Companies.
Key Takeaways:
The Personal Media Company Model:
These entrepreneurs operate their personal brands like full-blown media companies, ensuring they’re omnipresent across all platforms.
Personal:
At the heart of their strategy is a strong Personal Brand. People follow people, and building a relatable, authentic persona makes them experts in their field.
Media:
They focus on creating educational content, not for vanity metrics like likes and impressions, but for real business growth—conversions, owned contacts, and scaling.
Company:
They treat their content as a business asset. Everything they post is intentional, driving business growth and allowing them to scale with a team.
How You Can Apply This:
Don’t just focus on one platform—spread your content across multiple channels.
Prioritize growing metrics over vanity metrics.
Start thinking of your content as part of your business, not just an accessory.
Take action by scaling smart, starting with solo efforts before building a team.
For a more detailed breakdown and actionable steps, watch my full video where I share my "Fruit Forest Framework" to streamline your content creation process.
